With over 45 locations, approximately 5,000 employees, and 19 independent legal entities, indirect procurement at LGI was entirely paper-based. Orders were received via fax, email, the online store, or on paper, went through manual stamping and signing loops, and resulted in high maverick buying rates. Budget control and traceability were virtually impossible.
